“As with the original sheCamo pattern I set about making spraypaint & marker strokes on canvas, these were then digitised, edited & taste shifted into several sets of layers which comprised the new pattern. Overspray, expressive strokes & my trademark abstract handstyle collide to achieve a richer, deeper pattern that I would term a ‘parallel language’. One that compliments the quality & construction of the finished garment & achieves the fullest potential of the art / apparel collaboration process. In a sense we have flipped the idea of the original sheCamo which was a metropolitan defence pattern, sheCamo II lands the wearer firmly on the frontline”.
